In the midst of a tough year for the stock market, Pembroke Community Middle School students had a terrific time with the Stock Market Game, taking the top six spots in a competition against 506 middle school teams from across Massachusetts and winning first prize in the game’s essay contest. Two familiar faces will be filling two new administrative positions this summer at Pembroke Schools after a School Committee vote Tuesday night.
The curtain on Pembroke Community Middle School’s production of “Annie Jr.†won’t go up “Tomorrow,†but the young actors say they will be ready when it does.
The middle school’s fifth annual musical production will be on stage Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4.
Some afternoons, when classmates are heading home to relax or staying after school for sports practices, a group of Pembroke Community Middle School students chooses to stay behind to practice a different kind of skill.
