After his team’s 17-0 loss at the hands of Duxbury last week, baseball head coach Bob Flynn was worried the season may be slipping away from the Titans. But after Pembroke reeled off their second straight win with a 5-2 victory in Hanover Monday, Flynn is now hoping the loss was a turning point for the team.

Head baseball coach Bob Flynn had a hunch that bringing Sam Nagle back to baseball would work out. Flynn recruited the basketball captain to get back on the diamond last September, and the senior second baseman is paying dividends for the Titans.

Head coach Bob Flynn remained confident in his offense last week despite scoring one run in two games, and the Titans rewarded his patience by breaking out the bats over the last three games. 

The landscape of the Patriot League looks much different this baseball season, and head coach Bob Flynn hopes that will work out in Pembroke’s favor.

Pembroke Youth Baseball will be holding player evaluations for the upcoming season for all levels at the Hobomock Elementary School.
